Krzysztof Gmur

Krzysztof is a Partner at Nexia Pro Audit. He is a certified auditor with over 16 years of professional experience gathered as a director in one of the companies from the Big Four. In the period 2007-2011, he was a member of the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors’ Committee in charge of presenting opinions on legal acts, which has allowed him to get acquainted with the most frequent issues.

Expert in auditing and financial statements pursuant to Polish Accounting Standards and IFRS. He also specialises in implementing IFRS and Polish Accounting Standards, in particular upon mergers, consolidations, and asset valuation. Krzysztof has also vast experience in statutory auditing of financial statements (including consolidated statements), and evaluation of financial statements’ compliance with IFRS requirements. He performs audits of financial statements of public-interest entities (listed on the Stock Exchange), and of subsidiaries of large international corporations. He is in charge of accounting and financial consultancy.

Lecturer at many conferences and training courses, particularly in IFRS, as well as workshops for Supervisory Board members. He also provides training in the area of mandatory professional training within Nexia Pro Audit. Author and co-author of books, including “Mine 2011 – The game has changed”, “Komercjalizacja B+R dla praktyków”, or a textbook on research and development for the National Centre for Research and Development, as well as many publications in daily press, in particular articles for the Rachunkowość monthly. Graduate from Wroclaw University of Economics and Business.
